Another very successful partnership with MENAFA. Bahrain show last week was a great success. Thank you Dr. Khalid Alsharfa, and QMS for inviting me to participate. The new presentation I did about the state of the F&B industry in the GCC, was received with positive comments. The main topic was, how millennials are forcing change, and how operators cannot continue to fight it. Also, the presentation on how to select a consultant shocked many due to the usual transparency of providing evidence. I challenged the audience to (Trust, but verify) when looking for a consultant, and do not believe banners, Google search first page, or claims made that are not supported with proof. Really enjoyed it. Looking forward to seeing all during the SIAL show in Abu Dhabi where The Food Franchise Forum lead by Vishal Pandey MSc is co organizing and based on what I saw, it will be a must attend event.
